행정수도 네피도에서 사역하기 전 양곤에서 준비하는 과정 중에 바고(Bago) 지역에서 동역할 기회를 하나님께서 허락해 주셨습니다. 미얀마에서 불교가 가장 강한 도시라고 불리는 바고에서 교회를 개척해 사역하고 계시는 선교사님을 도와, 사역자들에게 예배 음악에 대해서 교육하는 시간을 정기적으로 가지게 되었습니다.
하나님께서 행하시는 일이 참 놀랍다고 여겨지는 것은, 저희가 구상하고 계획했던 청년 창업지원센터를 놓고 계속 기도해오셨던 선교사님을 만나게 된 것입니다. 이 만남과 동역이 앞으로 어떤 모양으로 되어질지는 모르지만, 미얀마 땅에 새로운 물결을 가져다주는 만남과 동역이 되어지길 기도합니다.
During the preparation process in Yangon before ministry in Naypyidaw, the administrative capital, God allowed an opportunity to work in Bago region. In Bago, which is said to be the city with the strongest Buddhism in Myanmar, we will regularly have time to help a missionary who planted churches and to educate ministers about worship music.
What is so amazing about what God is doing is that the missionary was the one who had been praying for the Entrepreneurship Support Center that we had envisioned and planned. I don't know what shape this meeting and co-work will be in the future, but I pray that it will be a meeting and co-work that will bring a new wave to the land of Myanmar. |

샨주 띠뻐 방문

저희가 4년간 가르쳤던 제자 중 한명이 VSP(창업지원프로그램)의 도움을 받아 샨주(Shan State) 띠뻐(Hsipaw)라는 도시에 유일한 음악학원을 창업하게 되었습니다. 여러모로 기념비적인 일이라 생각되어, 제가 그곳에 방문하여 격려하는 시간, 그리고 인근에 있는 또 다른 제자들과 함께 만나서 교제하며 대화하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
양곤에서는 800km, 버스를 갈아타며 운행 시간만 약 14시간 정도 걸리는 곳에 다녀오느라 몸은 피로했지만 현지인들을 잘 교육해서 곳곳에 리더로 세우는 일이 얼마나 보람된 일인지 다시 한번 체험하는 시간이었습니다.
One of our students started the only music academy in Hsipaw, Shan State, with the help of VSP. I thought it was a monumental event in many ways, so I had a time to visit and encourage them, and a time to meet, fellowship, and talk with other students. It was a long trip, 800 km from Yangon, and it took about 14 hours to change buses, but was a time to experience once again how exciting it is to educate the locals well and make them leaders all places in Myanmar. |

음악센터 준비

양곤에서 현지인 자녀들을 대상으로 하는 음악센터를 준비하고 있습니다. 이전에 운영하였던 FG Music Center의 연장선상에서, 선교의 중요한 도구가 될 음악교육을 감당할 인재들을 양성함과 동시에, 그들에게 경제적 자립의 환경도 조성해 줄 것을 기대하고 있습니다.
찬양학교에서 4년간 교육하였으며 FG Music Center에서 1년간 학원 운영의 전반적 부분을 배운 야다나 떼인(Yadana Thein) 선생은 양곤에 자신만의 음악학원을 창업하게 되었습니다. 많은 그리스도인 음악교사들이 배출되어 직간접적으로 복음을 전할 수 있는 교육의 장이 계속해서 마련되기를 소망합니다.
저희 선교의 궁극적 목표는 계속해서 미얀마인들과의 접촉점을 만들고, 그 지점에서 하나님에 대해, 복음에 대해 이야기해 주는 것에 있습니다. 그 일들을 감당함에 있어 가장 최선의 방법으로 저희의 역할을 감당하되 우리가 목표를 세워놓고 뜻대로 일이 되어지지 않을 때 좌절하는 것이 아니라, 항상 하나님의 인도하심을 받아 나아갈 수 있도록 기도 부탁드립니다.
We are preparing a music center for local children in Yangon. As an extension of the previously operated FG Music Center, we expect to nurture talents who will be able to handle music education, which will be an important tool for missionary work, and at the same time create an environment for economic independence for them.
After 4 years of teaching at the praise school and 1 year at FG Music Center where she learned all aspects of the academy operation, Yadana Thein started her own music academy in Yangon. I hope that many Christian music teachers will be produced and that the place of education where they can directly or indirectly preach the gospel will continue to be provided. |

1. 미얀마 시민들에게 긍휼을 베풀어 주시고 위기 상황을 잘 극복하여 나라가 안정될 수 있도록.
To show mercy to the citizens of Myanmar and overcome the crisis well so that the country can be stabilized.
2. 저희 부부가 언어를 계속해서 깊이있게 다룸으로서 현지인들과의 영적 교감이 이루어질 수 있도록.
To continue to deal with the language in depth so that spiritual communion with the locals can be achieved.
3. 이 시대에 맞는 사역전략을 잘 세우며 믿지않는 자들에게 복음이 전해지고 그리스도의 빛을 비출 수 있도록.
To establish ministry strategies suitable for this era, so that the gospel can be preached to unbelievers.
4. 현지인들이 선교사들의 도움없이 자립해나가는 환경이 계속해서 조성될 수 있도록.
To continue to create an environment where locals can stand on their own without the help of missionaries.
5. 날마다 성령님의 세밀한 음성을 듣고 늘 겸손함으로 그 음성에 순종하는 저희 가족 되도록.
Our family to listen to the detailed voice of the Holy Spirit everyday and always obey the voice with humility.
6. 세 자녀 - 윤아, 윤형, 윤후 - 가 몸과 마음이 건강하게, 하나님께 귀히 쓰임받는 그릇으로 성장하도록.
For Yuna, Isaac, John - To be grown up with healthy bodies and minds, to be good vessels used by God.
